Shute Harbour Slipway is looking for a shipwright / boat repairer to join our established slipway and marine maintenance facility in Shute Harbour, Whitsundays.
The position will include (but is not limited to) duties such as:
- Hauling of catamarans
- Repairs of all nature
- Timber work
- Detailing
- Painting
- Gel-coat experience is an advantage
- Fibre Glass work
The candidate will ideally possess the following:
- Minimum Certification III Marine Craft Construction
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
- Attention to detail and high quality workmanship
- A safety focus with a positive attitude.
