About the Role

AMI Group are seeking a Admin Assistant for their O’Connor based WA head office. The role operates within a friendly purchasing team, and reports to the Operations Manager and other senior management where required.

The AMI Group are a portfolio of companies with interests in wholesale distribution, specialist service & supply within maritime, naval defence, mining, commercial and leisure marine sectors.

After completion of probation, in addition to your paid Annual Leave you will be eligible for an additional 10 paid Well Being Days a year.

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to display the following:

  • Very organised with good attention to detail
  • Good time and priority management skills
  • Sound ability to communicate with others both inside and outside the office on the phone and by email. Also work closely with various departments including sales and service to ensure supply requirements are met
  • Understand typical business principles, processes and software. Previous experience with Attache and MYOB EXO preferred but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook etc)
