The AMI Group is Australia & Southeast Asia’s leading wholesale distributor and agent for the world’s best marine, electronic, offshore & safety products.
A full time (Monday to Friday) position has become available for a motivated individual to join our small friendly team at our Ormeau, Gold Coast office in the role of Internal Sales.

You will be responsible for telephone sales, responding to customer enquiries, processing of orders, customer service and some general office duties.

To be successful in this role it is highly beneficial (but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate) that you have a good general knowledge of boats and boating equipment, proven skills in communication, team work and the ability to liaise with others.

An open mind to work across all areas of the business is essential and you will need to have the motivation and drive to consistently develop your own personal skills. Training will be provided on the job.

Skills & Experience required:

Experience/knowledge of marine industry and boating products is desirable.
Exceptional organisational, time management, verbal/written skills and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
Able to work unsupervised and take initiative.
Competent in MS Office (word/excel/outlook).
