Marina Industries Association presents a compelling argument for Marinas22

In what is shaping up to be one of the most significant events the recreational marine industry has had in recent memory, Marina22 is being prepared with tremendous industry support.  With COVID unsettling the traditional seasonality curve and business cycle for many, this conference will allow industries thought leaders to gather and share market intelligence, learnings and opportunities on how to deal with the industry now and into the future.

The MIA report that “the event will showcase innovations in new marina and boatyard products and services and tackle some of the big issues and opportunities through presentations and interactive sessions.

Presentations, panels and workshops will include future economic, social, tourism and consumer trends, changing power sources, future design and options for maximising marina assets, digital marketing and leadership, boatyard issues and opportunities, insurance, environmental innovation, dry stacking, club and local government forums.

The trade exhibition will provide delegates with the most cost-effective way to meet face to face with over 35 vendors showcasing the latest products and services specifically for marinas including clubs, boat yards and dry stacks”

The team at the MIA are urging industry to consider one of the few remaining exhibition spaces, or to register as a conference delegate as soon as possible in order not to miss out.

In conjunction with a very informative video preview, a recent release said,  “With a more promising outlook for 2022, we look forward to the industry coming together at the JW Marriott Gold Coast 23-24 May 2022 for the Marinas22 International Conference & Trade Exhibition, followed by a not to be missed study tour on 25 May which will take in three of the best marine facilities in the country.

Kick-off will be on the evening of Sunday 22 May with a Welcome Reception aboard the superyacht venue YOT Club!  Departing from Southport Yacht Club’s soon to be completed superyacht berth, guests will embark and enjoy a light dinner while cruising up the Broadwater.   The ‘bookend event’ to the conferencing days will be the Gala Dinner on Tuesday 24 May, which will be a great celebration of the industry’s achievements and enable delegates to continue networking.

Registrations are now open and with the exhibition space already 80% sold, we are expecting this event to be a sell-out.
