GCCM announce Stephanie Trounce as their new WHS, Property and Compliance Manager

The newly created role of WHS, Property and Compliance Manager was a natural progression introduced by GCCM as part of their commitment to continually raising the bar for OHS and Environmental compliance in the Australian marine industry.

GCCM announced that Stephanie Trounce stepped into the role on 30 May 2022, quickly coming up to speed with the interdependent relationships between their customers, onsite partners, and industry participants. Stephanie will lead their Maintenance team and Compliance officers to further strengthen the overall presentation and functionality of the marina complex ensuring site facilities are well maintained whilst workers and tenants are provided with a safe and healthy work environment.

Stephanie has an extremely rich background covering the competencies of workplace health, safety, and risk advisory and of equal importance, an excellent background in training and leading within a multi-stakeholder environment. For the last 7 years, Stephanie has managed the workplace health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements for a leading land and housing developer where she managed all on-site staff and contractors across multiple worksites in Australia and New Zealand. Stephanie’s career expands across many diverse and high-risk industries including mining and construction starting out 15 years ago as a graduate for one of Australia’s largest contractors. Stephanie also has tertiary qualifications in Business, OHS, and HR Management and additional qualifications in auditing, training, rehabilitation and return to work, environmental management, and incident investigations. By her own admission, Stephanie likes to deal with the complexities of working with various trades, providers, and contractors and isn’t afraid to “roll her sleeves up” to ensure she gains the respect of others to achieve a company’s desired outcomes. Growing up on the Gold Coast and being surrounded by a family of boaties, Stephanie knows first-hand just how important conserving the beautiful Gold Coast environment is and she’s committed to driving the Closing the Loop on Waste initiative with the GCCM team, customers, and tenants.
