WA Marine industry is gearing up for a big Boat Show this September

The Boating Industry Association of WA presents the 2022 Club Marine Perth Boat Show from 16th -18th September 2022 at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Club Marine Perth Boat Show is becoming recognised as the major boat show for WA and is well supported by the marine industry locally and nationally.

BIAWA President Sheryl Swarbrick said with WA borders now open, she is looking forward to welcoming back interstate exhibitors to this year’s event.

“The country is getting back to normal following lockdowns and travel restrictions in recent years, and we are excited about what this new freedom will mean for this year’s Boat Show,” Sheryl said.

“Last year’s event was extremely successful for the industry, even though it was predominantly a local Show. We are predicting the event to grow significantly this year now that borders are open and people can travel to WA for the Show.”

“The Club Marine Perth Boat Show is always well supported by BIAWA members, and as such we have introduced new display packages for exhibitors this year to help them make the most of their Boat Show experience.”

“The 2022 Prospectus has been available for several weeks and already we are receiving feedback on the positive change for the industry,” Sheryl said.

Sheryl said the 2022 Club Marine Perth Boat Show will include more attractions and activations for Show visitors to enjoy. The Show is on Friday 16th – Sunday 18th September at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

2022 Attractions

The Club Marine Perth Boat Show brings together everything related to boating and fishing, with huge displays of the latest model trailerboats, jet skis, canoes and kayaks, engines, electronics, and navigation.

The Show also features different information zones and attractions to offer Show visitors an exciting and informative day out.

The City Toyota Fishing Zone offers visitors a range of fishing tackle, fishing boats and other fishing related products and services to browse and buy. The Fishing Zone will feature the main stage area which includes the Engel Fishing Stage. Special guest fishing presenters will be on stage throughout the day discussing a range of topics, plus demonstrating lures and fishing techniques in the Aquatank; plus there will be informative talks on travel and tourism, the latest information from Recfishwest and general Q&A with Show’s fishing presenters.

The most important aspect of boating is safety, and this is the message coming from the Maritime and Roads Information Hub at the Show this year. The Maritime and Roads Information Hub is a convenient one-stop-shop for information about safe boating including correct weight ratios for cars and boat trailers, fishing regulations, national approach for commercials vessels and interpreting weather forecasts.

Show visitors can also do their Skipper’s Ticket Test at the Show this year (pre-registration essential). The Show will also feature a new Dive Zone, Travel and Tourist info, special guests, and a major prize giveaway.
