The Marine Industry Open Day has been rescheduled due to clashes with State of Origin and will now be held on Tuesday 19 July.
BIA has partnered with the Australian Industry Trade College to host a Marine Industry Open Day for Year 9 and 10 students who wish to start their marine career while still in school.
A new program launching in 2023 will allow real world learning, with students spending up to 28 weeks a year in the marine industry developing employability skills in training, work experience and a school-based apprenticeship.
The Open Day will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at The Boat Works in Coomera. BIA members are asked to share details of the event with their network, to encourage the next generation of marine industry employees to learn more about a career in the industry.
