Farewell Vijaya

After nearly six years, the MIA’s Education Officer Vijaya Selvaraj has resigned her position to take up an opportunity as the Academic Programs Manager – International Programs with Kaplan Professionals – this is a great step up for Vijaya.

Anyone who has participated in MIA training will know Vijaya well and appreciate the contributions she made to MIA training and education, particularly her efforts in taking our courses online. On behalf of all members, The Marina Industries Association has thanked Vijaya for all her hard work, dedication and contributions and wish her very well in her new role.

The MIA will now be recruiting for a Training Co-ordinator. Experts in industry training and education will be ideally suited to this role as will industry experienced marina professionals who have strong administrative skills and a passion for marine industry training. The key purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth co-ordination and delivery of MIA training courses, educational activities and continuing professional development initiatives.
