Marinas24 Not to be Missed!

The final preparations are being made for the 370 delegates, from 14 countries who have registered to attend the Marinas24 International Conference and Trade Exhibition, kicking off in ten days at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) in Brisbane.

With over 50 industry suppliers exhibiting at the event, Marinas24 will again provide delegates with the most efficient and cost-effective way to meet suppliers face to face. The conference content provides a mix of inspiring ideas and innovations but also tackles some challenging issues that the industry needs to consider. The entire program, along with the list of exhibitors can be found at

MIA President Andrew Chapman commented, “We are excited to welcome a record number of delegates mainly from Australia and the Asia-Pacific. We have a great line up of speakers that will deliver relevant, timely and thought-provoking content designed to inspire delegates to capitalise on the strength of the industry”.

Jayson McDonald, CEO Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay commented, “As an event that only happens every two years it is worth making the effort because the exhibition allows you to update yourself with the latest products and services on the market and catch up with other industry suppliers. The conference content is always inspiring and we usually hear about the latest in marina design, trends and issues. If you’re not there in ten days, then it could be four years between drinks for you”, he said with a cheeky smile.

The Marinas24 program incorporates plenty of time for delegates to network. In addition to the extended breaks to meet exhibitors, organised social events provide time for the industry to reunite old friendships, make new connections and celebrate the growing success of the industry. There will no doubt be plenty of celebrating at the Bellingham Bar at the Rydges, across the road from the RICC.

Marinas24 will wrap up with the Superior Jetties Soiree at Howard Smith Wharves on Tuesday evening, where over 250 of the delegates will enjoy the views of the Brisbane River, the Story Bridge and the city skyline.
