During the AGM Scott O’Hare, Michael Neumann and Neil James were re-elected to BIAV Board executive positions.
As is the process for the BIA Victoria, the board convened after the AGM to elect their President & Vice-President.
At the May Board meeting, Scott O’Hare was nominated for the position of President to continue his tenure into a third year. The Board unanimously endorsed Scott for the role providing continuity in the key governance and government relations initiatives.
Scott said, “My thanks to my fellow Board members for the vote of confidence. I’m eager to keep working alongside them in the best interests of the industry, as well as to keep the close relations going with those at Spring St, where we can work together to make a positive difference, and really drive the industry forward.”
Spring Street being known as the traditional seat of the Victorian government.
Michael Neumann returned to the role of Vice-President, following the departure of Michelle Reid, a position Michael has previously held 12-months prior.
Neil James accepted his nomination for Treasurer and, like Scott and Michael, was unanimously elected. His reappointment further enhances BIAV’s stability.
