Following the successful inaugural event in Zagreb, Croatia in October 2024, Women in Nautica have announced its next edition will be hosted at Metstrade in Amsterdam on November 19, 2025. This marks a significant milestone in the initiative’s mission to elevate women’s voices and leadership across the global boating industry.
Last year’s launch event brought together over 150 attendees from all corners of the marine world, including executives, entrepreneurs, engineers, innovators and more. Industry leaders such as Groupe Beneteau, ZF Group, and others took part in thought-provoking panels and networking discussions focused on inclusion, innovation, and growth.
The project has since expanded its reach with the Women in Nautica Podcast, available on Spotify and YouTube, where key industry figures continue to share their journeys and insights in an accessible and inspiring format.
Hosting this year’s conference at Metstrade – the world’s largest trade exhibition for marine equipment – positions Women in Nautica at the very heart of the industry’s global dialogue.
“Bringing Women in Nautica to Metstrade is an exciting advancement for our community,” says Ana Čalić, conference organiser. “It’s a powerful opportunity to connect our mission with the broader international marine society and to continue building a more inclusive, forward-thinking industry together.”
Patricia Becker, Exhibition Manager Metstrade, commented:
“Accessibility and inclusion are core pillars of Metstrade, and we are proud to expand on that commitment by welcoming the inspiring Women in Nautica initiative to our show this November. Strengthening our platform for connection, visibility, and progress across the maritime industry.”
As the initiative grows, Women in Nautica remains committed to fostering meaningful connections, celebrating achievements and education, and encouraging the next generation of leaders across all segments of the boating industry.
