Azimut Brings Global Yachting Vision to Asia Pacific with Inaugural Asian Rendez-Vous in Tokyo

As demand for luxury yachting accelerates across Asia Pacific, Azimut continues to strengthen its footprint through the region’s most extensive and well-established dealer network spanning Australia, Mainland China, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The Tokyo event served as both a cultural showcase and a strategic touchpoint to chart the brand’s next chapter in the region.

An industry pioneer in Asia Pacific, Azimut stands apart with its long-standing “one dealer per market” strategy. This model gives each market the advantage of tailored local insight, a highly personal client relationship, and an entrepreneurial mindset that drives innovation and long-term value. It also keeps Azimut closely attuned to evolving owner preferences, as a new generation embraces innovation, design, and technology at sea.

“Azimut has always stood for more than products – we represent a way of living the sea with purpose, beauty, and Italian flair,” said Giovanna Vitelli, Chair of Azimut|Benetti Group. “What makes our journey in Asia so meaningful is not just how early we entered the region, but how deeply we’ve connected with owners with shared values. We are especially grateful to Yasuda Shipyard for their dedication in making this meaningful gathering possible – another reflection of the strength of the Azimut family and the relationships that shape our story here.”

“Asia has long been a region of strategic importance for Azimut, where we’ve built a strong foundation anchored in trust and local insights,” added Marco Valle, CEO of Azimut|Benetti Group. “The Asian Rendez-Vous was a valuable moment to directly engage our community and reaffirm our commitment. With 16 recent deliveries, such as the Grande 32M in Ha Long Bay, and other 10 already planned, we are proud to continuously grow alongside a new generation of inspiring owners – true to our promise to ‘Dare to Amaze.’”

The vibrant Azimut community came together for an exclusive showcase of the brand’s most iconic yachts, hosted at Yasuda Shipyard, transformed for the occasion into a striking stage where cutting-edge innovation, bold style, and Italian high craftsmanship converged. An artisanal workshop with Milanese leather atelier Serapian further spotlighted heritage and design excellence – hallmarks of Azimut’s philosophy.

With the most extensive fleet in the world, Azimut speaks to every kind of owner – from thrill-seekers to families, to visionaries drawn to avant-garde design – offering each a unique way to experience life on the water. As night fell, these kindred spirits came together aboard seven Azimut yachts gliding across Tokyo Bay, united beneath a canopy of stars in a breathtaking celebration as fireworks lit up the sky in tribute to their shared passion for the sea.

The event also offered guests an immersive cultural journey, celebrating the union of Japanese and Italian values. A pinnacle of the celebration was an exclusive evening at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, graciously opened for the occasion by His Excellency Ambassador Benedetti, where tradition met innovation in a setting that reflected Azimut’s spirit of harmony between man, nature, and technology.

Guests were also treated with a sensory culinary experience curated by Michelin-starred, internationally renowned chef Carlo Cracco, followed by a refined performance honouring Italy’s rich musical heritage.

With the success of its first Asian Rendez-Vous, Azimut sets the stage for deeper engagement and elevated yachting experiences across Asia Pacific.
