Dometic has announced the appointment of Mike Normington as Vice President of APAC Marine, effective 2 June 2025. Based in Varsity Lakes on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Mike will lead the company’s marine operations across the Asia-Pacific region.

Bringing over 15 years of leadership experience, Mike is a seasoned General Manager with deep expertise in B2B and retail sales, global business shared services, and transformation initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. He has a strong track record in driving growth, engaging stakeholders, managing strategic programs, and delivering against business objectives. Mike is known for leading large direct and indirect teams with a disciplined focus on cost and risk management.
Most recently, Mike served as General Manager – Integration at bp Australia Pty Ltd, where he oversaw the integration of a 50-site retail network. Prior to that, he was General Manager – Retail Operations ANZ, overseeing 440 stores and more than 6,000 employees. He has also served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Australian Association of Convenience Stores.
In his new role at Dometic Marine, Mike will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of sales and distribution throughout the APAC region. He will lead the development of long-term growth strategies and collaborate with product management, development, sales, and other key stakeholders to build a robust product and operational roadmap for sustained business growth.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing/HR) from La Trobe University and completed executive studies at the Sales & Marketing Academy, Northwestern University, Chicago, IL.
