Celebrating the Riviera family with world premieres, exclusive experiences, and a showcase of Australian-made excellence.
Set against the backdrop of the idyllic weather Queensland is known for, Riviera – Australia’s premium luxury motor yacht builder – delivered its largest and most spectacular showcase to date at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The display featured 12-exceptional motor yachts from 43 to 78 feet, including selected models from Riviera’s Motor Yacht, Sports Motor Yacht, Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, and SUV collections.
The showcase featured the world premieres of the highly versatile 4300 Sports Express and the long range and legendary 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II. The response to these launches was a great sense of pride for the Riviera team.
Over 2,000 owners and admirers from across Australia and overseas were welcomed by the team for a memorable four-day celebration of craftsmanship and the Riviera family.
“This was our largest-ever display at Sanctuary Cove and the response was amazing. What made it truly special was the opportunity to welcome our passionate Riviera family – those who own and love our yachts to experience our latest creations,” said Riviera Owner, Rodney Longhurst.
A popular feature of the showcase was the exclusive Riviera owners lounge, which offered a private bistro, champagne bar, and live entertainment – providing owners with a luxurious space to relax and catch-up with friends throughout the show.
Riviera’s commitment to creating the ultimate boating experience was on full display through the Festival of Boating, an in-depth educational program featuring over 30 seminars and on-water workshops. From the lady skippers’ program to offshore seamanship, mastering onboard systems to navigation and power management, Riviera’s expert-led sessions were designed to empower owners to enjoy their yachts even more safely and with greater confidence.
Signature events such as Ladies Day at the show brought together more than 100 Riviera ladies for a Prosecco reception and Italian-inspired feast, while the Songs in the Key of Riv gala evenings held over three nights saw over 500 owners enjoy premium three-course dining with live entertainment – followed by a floating nightclub on the Riviera owners’ lounge.
Sanctuary Cove holds unique significance as the only Australian boat show that features a Riviera exhibit. The shows proximity to Riviera’s manufacturing facility also allows many visitors to tour the factory and meet the enthusiastic team of master crafts people that create Riviera’s world class yachts.
“Sanctuary Cove provided a rare opportunity for our owners and admirers to experience first-hand the designer styling and quality that defines Riviera,” said Rodney Longhurst, Riviera’s owner.
“We were so proud to welcome new members to the Riviera family during the show – including one avid owner who purchased their families eleventh Riviera yacht, scheduled for delivery in 2026.”
With so much interest across the fleet, Riviera’s 2025 Sanctuary Cove exhibit not only celebrated the passion of the Rivera family but also showcased the company’s tremendous commitment to boating education and enhancing the unique luxury lifestyle enjoyed by its owners.
As a tribute to this great team effort, Riviera hosted a special thank-you lunch at its Gold Coast manufacturing facility to honour the team behind this year enormous showcase.
Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst and Manufacturing Director Kyle Davison gave the team a heartfelt address, expressing their gratitude for the dedication and hard work that went into creating the Sanctuary Cove display and Festival of Boating.
“Every person here played a role in presenting Riviera at its very best. Our world class quality is a direct result of your unwavering commitment,” said Kyle Davison.
Rodney Longhurst concluded by saying, “We are in the Superbowl of boat building – creating the best Riviera motor yachts in our history which are now regarded as being among the finest in the world, thanks to each of you.”
The team lunch marked more than just the close of a wonderful boat show, the lunch underscored the Riviera culture and drive for excellence.
