Cannes Yachting Festival 2025: Horizon’s Showcase Revealed

New European chapter unfolds with debut of the FD80 Skyline and ideal occasion to discover the FD100 Tri-Deck.

Horizon Yachts will be present at the 48th Edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place on September 9–14 at the city’s Vieux Port Superyacht Extension exhibition area. A must-attend event for all yachting enthusiasts, the French Riviera provides the perfect backdrop to stage the European debut of the stunning FD80 Skyline and to learn more about the FD100 Tri-Deck. Both builds are available for immediate delivery.

These yachts exemplify the masterful fusion of design, performance, and unparalleled craftsmanship that has propelled Horizon’s FD Series to become a world best-seller in the high-volume motoryacht category.

As the pièce de résistance in Horizon’s presence at Cannes, the FD80 Skyline Hull 15 marks a significant entry into the European market, notably for its generous volume within a compact framework. True to the original FD80 vision by Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, this build is a prime showcase of a soft minimalist interior, where full-height windows in the main deck living areas invite abundant natural light to take centre stage. Gentle, curving lines connect premium materials and comfort, a theme echoed in the custom furniture pieces that together create a serene and sophisticated onboard experience.

In terms of the accommodation layout, this FD80 comes with four ensuite staterooms. The full-beam on-deck master suite in the bow has notably been upgraded to specifications comparable to Horizon’s larger FD90 model and features a his-and-hers vanity. Below deck, three ensuite staterooms comprise the port and starboard VIPs and a forward VIP with a convertible V-berth. A fully equipped laundry room completes the accommodation area.

Interior and exterior spaces come together in a harmonious flow to maximise the use of various lounging and entertainment amenities. The main deck aft offers a versatile outdoor dining area with seating for six. Forward of the enclosed wheelhouse, the bow features U-shaped seating and sun pads ideal for alfresco dining. The bridge deck aft and the Skylounge form a vibrant social space with a teppanyaki bar, fold-up TV, wine cabinet, and a central Jacuzzi with a bar.

As the first FD100 Tri-Deck on the continent, Hull 12 will be located near the show and available for private viewings by appointment, before making her official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show later that month. This RINA-classed, high-volume yacht features five luxurious ensuite cabins, including the on-deck master stateroom, along with mirrored VIPs and two convertible staterooms below deck. Crew quarters are situated forward on the lower deck. The yacht’s contemporary interior is characterised by Cadorin European Oak Rock flooring and dyed oak wall paneling and given weight by black metallic detailing and clean lines. An enclosed skylounge and expansive deck areas, culminating in the ultimate Tri-Deck experience, make for sumptuous lounging and entertainment.

The Cannes Yachting Festival is a fantastic opportunity to experience these yachts firsthand as well as catch up on the latest developments at Horizon. To learn more or arrange a viewing, please contact Tom Boogaard, Horizon Yacht Europe; or visit www.horizonyachtaus.com.
