A new era for Sydney’s boating community has arrived. The all-new Marina Bayside, a purpose-built $20 million undercover facility, is officially open and is set to transform the way boat owners, marine professionals, and lifestyle enthusiasts experience the water.
Strategically located at Taren Point and just minutes from Sydney Harbour, Marina Bayside is Sydney’s newest marine hub. The purpose-built marine repair and storage facility, caters for vessels up to 80 feet and dry boat storage for 160 vessels up to 40 feet in length. It offers unrivalled facilities including drystack storage, a travel lift, full-service repair and refit, and competitive costs, all under one roof, in an all-weather environment. It is also the region’s only undercover dry boat storage with direct water access, meaning boaters can enjoy a truly walk-on, walk-off experience without trailers or ramps.

To celebrate this milestone and welcome Southern Sydney’s marine industry , Marina Bayside will host the inaugural Southern Sydney Marine Expo on Saturday 8 November 2025 from 10am–4pm. The event will showcase the world-class facilities, and be a full day of free entertainment, education, networking, and discovery for anyone who enjoys boating and being on the water (and their families!).

- Exhibits from leading marine brands including Onboard Engineering, Fenquin Volvo Penta and Seakeeper Australia, showcasing vessels and vessel demos, accessories, stabilisation demo sea trials and the latest marine tech.
- Entertainment for all ages: Australian Jet Ski Champion Jett Cavanagh performing live, kids’ fishing competitions, knot-tying workshops, themed rides, and interactive games.
- Live music and roving entertainment, creating a buzzing atmosphere throughout the venue.
- Food and drink offerings from Sydney’s favourite food trucks, local coffee roasters, and craft brewers.
- Unmissable giveaways, including the headline raffle for a Cayman Inflatable Boat valued at $3,500.
