Australian Sailing is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from coaches keen to be part of the 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships Team and the 2026 Australian Sailing National Youth Squad.
These coaching roles provide an exciting opportunity to support Australia’s top youth sailors as they develop their skills, build confidence, and represent their country.
The Youth Sailing World Championships is a key event on the global youth sailing calendar, and a great learning experience for sailors and coaches alike. Coaches selected for the Youth Worlds Team will play a vital role in guiding young sailor through preparation, competition, and reflection, supporting them to perform and learn on the international stage.
The Australian Sailing National Youth Squad supports young sailors throughout the year, helping them refine their technical skills and build solid foundations for performance. Coaches working in the Australian Sailing National Youth Squad Program will work collaboratively with national staff and peers to deliver camps, foster sailor development, and contribute to a connected national coaching network.
Both programs offer a fantastic professional development opportunity for coaches who are passionate about youth sailing and committed to helping the next generation of sailors reach their potential.
EOIs for both coaching opportunities close on 22 February 2026.
