Refined offshore performance meets practical ownership
Melbourne, Australia. Haines Hunter Australia is on a mission releasing a new 700 series of boats after the Newly released 600 series in late 2025. Now the company proudly introduces the 760 Enclosed Black Edition, a premium offshore platform engineered to deliver the brand’s legendary ride quality while remaining practical, towable and versatile for real-world boating.

Developed from a newly refined hull balance and weight distribution program, the 760 brings a noticeable advancement in ride softness, stability at rest and predictable handling – the core attributes that define true offshore confidence.
Rather than simply increasing size, the design focus on control and composure in changing conditions.
Intelligent Stability as Standard
The 760 Enclosed Black Edition comes standard with the Seakeeper Ride system, an automatic trim and attitude control technology that continuously manages pitch and roll.
The system actively responds to sea conditions in real time – keeping the hull level in head seas, balanced in quartering swell and stable while drifting – dramatically reducing driver workload and fatigue during long offshore days.
“We wanted the skipper concentrating on the water ahead, not constantly trimming the boat”, says Haines Hunter Managing Director John Haber.
“The hull provides the foundation, and the Seakeeper system enhances it – together they create a balanced, effortless driving experience.”

Designed for How People Actually Boat
The 760 Enclosed Black Edition has been engineered as a genuine multi-purpose offshore vessel:
- Offshore fishing missions
- Long distance coastal runs
- Family day boating
- Overnight stays
- Extended trips in changing weather
The enclosed hardtop provides full protection from the elements while maintaining visibility and airflow, and the cabin offers practical overnight accommodation – not simply storage space disguised as a berth.
Big-boat confidence without big-boat ownership
Despite its capability, the 760 remains realistically towable behind a capable 4WD, allowing owners to store, transport and launch without committing to marina-only boating.
Combined with efficient running characteristics and manageable operating costs, the platform delivers serious offshore performance without stepping into large vessel ownership territory.
Continuing the Haines Hunter legacy
The 760 Enclosed Black Edition carries forward decades of Haines Hunter heritage – a reputation built on ride quality, structural integrity and resale value – now enhanced with modern stability technology and refined ergonomics.
“This is a boat built to do everything well,” Haber adds.
“Offshore capability, family comfort and practical ownership – that’s the balance that matters.”
A Genuine Limited Numbered Edition (Certified)
Beyond the running characteristics, the Black Series specification adds genuine substance to the platform. The hull itself carries a heavier build schedule, coming in at approximately 1,950 kg, complemented by an uprated transom structure and additional reinforcement through the laminate – choices that favour durability and composure over minimal towing weight. The platform is rated to twin 300 horsepower – a serious 600hp capability – supported by a 500-litre long-range fuel capacity that reinforces its offshore intent. The limited edition treatment extends throughout the boat, from blackout stainless componentry to soft-touch foam finishes along the floors and gunnels, giving it a quiter, more refined feel underfoot. Each vessel is finished in a customised colour scheme chosen by the owner and delivered with an individual certificate of authenticity, marking it as a genuine limited production model rather than simply a cosmetic package.
