Yanmar Takes a Major Step Toward a Low-Carbon Marine Future

Yanmar Power Solutions Co., Ltd., a group company of Yanmar Holdings, is advancing the development of next-generation fuel compatible engines to help realise a decarbonised society. In anticipation of increased production of marine and land-use engines in the future, the company has acquired land at the Phoenix industrial site in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. At the newly acquired site, Yanmar Power Solutions plans to construct a new factory where activities such as test operation of marine hydrogen engines will be conducted. Through this initiative, the company aims to reorganise and strengthen its production system, including existing factories. The new factory is scheduled to begin operations around March 2029.
