The first edition of Seaquip delivers on its goals
The new B2B fair has achieved the results that Easyfairs had set for its debut in the nautical sector. The first edition of the Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair was met with satisfaction from industry professionals, more than half of whom have already confirmed their participation for next year.

The feedback from exhibitors and professionals who visited the fair, including component manufacturers, designers, naval engineers, surveyors, captains, and representatives from technical offices and research and development departments of numerous shipyards, will be the starting point for the organisation of the second edition, scheduled to take place from March 3 to 5, 2027.
“We are satisfied with the results achieved in this first edition, which attracted more than 3,000 entries from industry professionals: thanks to Easyfairs’ experience in organising trade fairs, we can say that this figure exceeded our expectations and is very encouraging for the first edition of a B2B event, making us optimistic about the future of the exhibition,” commented Pier Paolo Ponchia, CEO of Easyfairs Italia. “Both visitors and exhibitors expressed positive feedback, confirming the interest and willingness of the entire supply chain to have a reference B2B event in Milan. We also recorded the presence of numerous representatives from major Italian and international shipyards, who appreciated the opportunity to meet suppliers and brands that are not present at other events.”

Exhibitors at the first edition of SEAQUIP – Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair appreciated the organisation of the event, its strategic location, and the layout of the exhibition spaces, and more than half have already confirmed their participation in the second edition. In addition, several industry operators have already joined the 2027 edition despite not taking part in this year’s event, a sign that the positive response to the first edition has attracted new players interested in the exhibition.
The second edition of SEAQUIP, scheduled from March 3 to 5, 2027, will return with the same format, enriched with new features and improvements based on feedback from exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition space will be doubled, the offer will be expanded with new services and products dedicated to marinas, while the Deck Area will be redesigned with an even more engaging format, and new partnerships will help strengthen the event’s visibility at an international level.

Among the professionals who believed in this trade fair, Francesca Peverino, Italy Operation Manager at Raymarine, commented: “We greatly appreciated the professional organisation of this new trade fair and hope it will continue to grow in future editions. It was an opportunity to initiate a series of very interesting contacts and, in this regard, the summary of all the visits to our stand that we received through the Easyfairs app was very useful.”
“The launch of SEAQUIP showed good attendance and generated interesting contacts for our business,” said Pietro Cappiello of CMC Marine, who has already confirmed the company’s participation for next year. The Vice President of CMC Marine added: “The presence of a national B2B trade fair capable of bringing together the entire supply chain of components and accessories represents an important element for the sector.”

Giancarlo Faglia, General Manager of Euthalia Marine, commented: “SEAQUIP proved to be a new strategic hub for international excellence in the maritime sector. For us, it was the ideal opportunity to present important innovations in our lightning protection solutions. We will return for the second edition as well.”
Cüneyt Uşarel, R&D Project and Development Manager at Erkab Kablo, a Turkish company that produces electrical and communication cables also for the nautical and naval sector, said: “For us it was a very positive experience, which allowed us to connect with new clients in Italy.”
