It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Harry Davis, a highly respected and influential figure within the Australian marine industry.
Many across the industry will have known Harry through the prominent role he played in the delivery of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show over many years.
As one of the Show’s original pioneers, Harry dedicated more than 25 years to supporting its exhibitors and the wider marine community. His passion, vision and unwavering commitment helped establish and shape the Show into the internationally recognised event it is today.
Harry’s contribution, however, extends far beyond the success of the Show itself. His legacy can be found in the relationships he built, the trust he earned and the lasting impression he made on the many people who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
He will be remembered with immense respect and gratitude for his service to the industry and for the foundations he helped create.
On behalf of the marine industry, past and present, we extend our sincere condolences to Harry’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.
Harry’s legacy is woven into the fabric of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and will continue to be felt at Sanctuary Cove for many years to come.
