Williams Jet Tenders launches new TurboJet MX range, bringing premium jet tender ownership within reach

New models combine Williams Jet Tender quality and performance with a more accessible price point for yacht owners worldwide

Williams Jet Tenders, the world’s leading jet tender manufacturer, today announced the launch of the new TurboJet MX range, a purpose-built addition to its portfolio designed to make premium jet tender ownership more accessible than ever before.

The new range comprises the TurboJet 280MX (RRP £17,299) and TurboJet 320MX (RRP £19,995), offering customers the renowned quality, reliability and performance synonymous with Williams Jet Tenders at a significantly more competitive price point.

The TurboJet 280MX is 2.79m in length overall, features a BRP Rotax Ace 903 60HP engine, and can carry 3 adults and 1 child with a top speed of 42mph. The TurboJet 320 MX is 3.19m in length, can carry 4 adults and 1 child, and features an upgraded 90hp engine reaching top speeds of 45mph.

The launch comes at a time when the global yacht market continues to face challenging conditions, particularly within the 40–70ft sector, which has experienced slower new boat sales as a result of inflationary pressures in recent years. With more than 5,000 Williams tenders already operating in this size category worldwide, the TurboJet MX range has been developed to provide an attractive replacement option for existing owners looking to return to the Williams brand.

“TurboJet MX represents an important evolution for Williams,” said Mathew Hornsby, Commercial Director at Williams Jet Tenders. “We’ve listened carefully to the market and recognised an opportunity to deliver a tender that maintains the quality, performance and ownership experience customers expect from Williams, while opening the door to a broader audience. For many owners, you would have to go back to 2017 to find a new Williams tender at this price point.”

Despite its competitive positioning, the TurboJet MX has been engineered to Williams’ exacting standards and introduces a range of enhancements designed to improve both performance and ownership experience.

Key features of the new TurboJet MX range include:

  • Enhanced performance, stability and handling following extensive testing
  • New upholstery design delivering a fresh, contemporary appearance
  • Choice of white or grey tube options
  • Approximately 20% lower retail price than comparable jet tenders on the market
  • Approximately 30% lighter than competing jet tenders
  • Built and tested to the same quality and performance standards as every Williams tender

The introduction of the TurboJet MX also marks the next step in the evolution of Williams’ entry-level offering. Production of the existing MiniJet 280 will cease in September, with yacht fitment transitioning to the new TurboJet MX platform.

The company expects the new range to appeal to both existing Williams owners seeking a replacement tender and new customers entering the jet tender market for the first time.

“The TurboJet MX is about accessibility without compromise,” added Mathew Hornsby. “By creating a product that delivers exceptional value while remaining unmistakably Williams, we’re positioning ourselves to grow our customer base, increase production volumes and continue driving innovation within the jet tender market.”

The TurboJet 280MX and 320MX are available to order through Williams Jet Tenders’ global dealer network.
