Performance Cruising Yachts (PCY) has been appointed as the Australian and New Zealand dealer for the prestigious Italian brand, Solaris Yachts, bringing one of Europe’s most respected performance cruising brands to the region.

For five decades, Solaris Yachts has created sailing yachts combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with advanced design, engineering and performance. Designed for sailors who value performance without compromising cruising comfort, Solaris yachts are renowned for their distinctive styling, exceptional build quality and attention to detail.
Founded in 1974 in Aquileia, on the shores of the Venetian lagoon, Solaris Yachts now produces seven lush Deck models, including the new 44 and 74, and four Raised Saloon (RS) models, from 64 to the spectacular flagship 111.

Sales Manager of Solaris Yachts, Vincenzo De Maria said: “We are delighted to appoint Performance Cruising Yachts as the dealer for our Solaris Yachts range. We know Matt Hayes and his team will do an incredible job representing and growing the brand in Australia and New Zealand.”
The appointment adds Solaris Yachts to an already strong portfolio of premium sailing and powerboat brands represented by Performance Cruising Yachts and marks another significant step in the company’s expansion across the Australian and New Zealand marine markets.
Performance Cruising Yachts CEO and founder Matt Hayes says the Solaris appointment is a natural fit for the company and its customers.
“We are delighted to be representing Solaris Yachts in Australia. Solaris is a respected brand known for its quality, and we look forward to working with the Solaris team to grow the brand.”
“I was fortunate to see and experience racing amongst 80 Solaris yachts for the prestigious Solaris Cup in Porto Rotondo in Sardinia earlier in the year and spoke to many owners who are so passionate about these boats. It was very clear that these are yachts for people who genuinely love sailing.”
“I also saw some of the newer models at the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September – the Solaris 50, 55, 60 and 64 RS – and heard all about the new Solaris 44, which will make her debut in November 2026. The quality of the boats is exceptional.” said Hayes.
