Australian trailer boat manufacturer and retailer, Whittley Marine Group, has expanded its product offering with the release of a new aluminium boat series. Branded as the Whittley AL Series, the new range is now available at all five Whittley Boating Centre locations across the country.
The AL Series introduces six new aluminium boat, motor, and trailer (BMT) packages, all under 5.5 metres in length and aimed at delivering affordable, ready-to-go solutions for Australian boaters. The models span popular configurations including bow riders, side consoles, centre consoles, runabouts, and open tiller steer boats.
According to Whittley Marine Group’s General Manager, Brock Cohen, the move to include aluminium models aligns with the company’s strategic goal of offering a full-circle trailer boating experience – covering sales, servicing, accessories, and now a broader range of boat types.
The AL Series complements Whittley’s existing fibreglass lines, which include the FF, CR, and SL model ranges. With packages starting at $16,990 and extending to under $90,000 drive-away, the aluminium models cater to a broader segment of the market while maintaining Whittley’s commitment to quality.
Each AL Series boat is packaged with a Dunbier trailer and powered by either a Mercury or Honda four-stroke outboard engine. Standard features include painted hulls, full-length carpeted floors, front and rear rails, and optional bimini and folding sock on select models. Models are available in both plate and pressed alloy construction and are built to Whittley’s Super Tough Construction standards. All boats come backed by a three-year warranty.

Each model features Whittley’s SS performance hull design, offering enhanced fuel efficiency, improved stability at rest and underway, and a smoother ride thanks to a deeper vee profile than typical aluminium hulls.
The AL Series draws on over 70 years of trailer boat knowledge from the Whittley family and offers a gateway into the Whittley brand for new and returning customers alike. It marks a significant addition to Whittley’s national dealership and boatbuilding model, providing customers with a broader range of boating solutions under one brand.
