The 16th edition of the Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award will once again reassemble the world’s best marine photographers from all over the world. The prize giving will take place during the Yacht Racing Forum, held in Amsterdam alongside Metstrade, where the 20 best images will be exhibited.
Professional photographers from around the globe are invited to submit their best yacht racing images captured between October 14, 2024, and October 12, 2025.
The top 80 photographs, selected by an international jury, will be showcased on the event website starting October 20, where the public will be able to vote for the coveted Public Award.
The top 20 images will then be displayed at Metstrade Amsterdam from November 18–20.

Launched in 2010 with the support of Mirabaud private bankers, the Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award gathers the world’s best yacht racing photographers. In 2024, no fewer than 130 photographers from 31 countries submitted their work.
The prize-giving ceremony will take place during a dedicated reception at the Yacht Racing Forum on November 21, attended by key members of the international marine industry and yacht racing photographers from across the world.

These industry leaders, media and sailing professionals will have the challenging task of selecting the best sailing photograph of the year.
Now in its 16th edition, the competition is open to professional photographers from all over the world, who are invited to submit their finest image captured between 14 October 2024 and 12 October 2025.
The 80 best images, as chosen by the jury, will be published on the event’s website on 20 October, after which the public will have until 14 November to vote for their favourite.
The 20 best images will be showcased at Metstrade in Amsterdam from 18 to 20 November. The winners will be revealed and celebrated during the Yacht Racing Forum on 21 November.
Two awards will be presented, each accompanied by prize money:
Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award – Chosen by the international jury:
1st place: €1,500
2nd place: €750
3rd place: €250
Public Award – Determined by online voting:
Winner: €500
Additional prizes may also be awarded to photographers attending the prize-giving ceremony.
Photographers have until midnight on 12 October to submit their entries via the event website.
