CMC Marine further strengthens the company’s technological integration strategy by announcing a new agreement with Navico – the group that controls the Simrad, Lowrance and B&G brands and is one of the world’s leading players in electronic marine instrumentation.

The agreement forms part of the Italian company’s strategic plan, which includes partnerships with Furuno, Raymarine and Garmin, and aims to offer captains and crew an increasingly comprehensive and interconnected ecosystem of services.
“CMC Marine’s goal is to improve both the experience and the safety on board yachts and superyachts, at the same time as making our products increasingly intuitive and integrated with on-board systems,” explains Pietro Cappiello, Vice President of CMC Marine. “The collaboration with Navico on the integration of its MFDs forms part of this vision: to offer customers, crews and owners even more efficient cruising, in the pursuit of continuous innovation at the service of yachting,” he concludes.

With the capabilities of the Display, Assistance and Logging Interface (DALI), the stabilisation and control systems developed by CMC Marine Garmin now communicate directly with multifunction displays (MFD) in the Navico range. Compatibility includes Simrad models NSO evo, NSS evo, NSX and IDS; B&G models ZeuS3/3S, Zeus S, Vulcan; and Lowrance models HDS Pro, HDS Live, HDS Carbon and Elite FS. Integration makes it possible to monitor and manage fin movements and performance in real time, set operating modes and parameters, and access detailed information and alarms in an immediate and intuitive way.
