While EYOS voyages are typically offered for full charter, EYOS is offering a rare chance to book their August 2026 Eclipse Voyage aboard Aqua Lares by single cabin, allowing intimacy, exclusive access and expert led exploration of a private charter at a more accessible entry point.

The once in a lifetime expedition aboard the luxury expedition yacht Aqua Lares will sail along the path of totality, deep into East Greenland’s untouched wilderness, specifically Scoresby Sund, the world’s largest and longest fjord system. The remote location offers a rare low light pollution vantage point for the eclipse, as Greenland continues to welcome more American travellers following the opening of a new airport, increasing accessibility to the region.

Guests will witness the celestial spectacle on a horizon free from light pollution, surrounded by icebergs, fjords and the Arctic’s surreal twilight glow.

The bespoke seven day voyage, from August 11 to 18, 2026, offers rare access to one of Earth’s last true frontiers, bringing together science, exploration and luxury for travellers seeking the ultimate perspective shifting experience.

With Aqua Lares serving as a floating basecamp, guests will travel aboard a former Class 1 icebreaker refitted for refined polar travel. The vessel features a state of the art cinema, Balinese spa, panoramic decks, heli deck, cold water diving equipment and more.

The expedition will be accompanied by an expert team bringing rare depth across science, exploration, photography and polar travel. Dr. Kathy Sullivan, a NASA astronaut, geologist, oceanographer and U.S. Navy officer, will offer guests rare insights into the science and wonder of celestial and planetary exploration.

Renowned expedition photographer David Wright, whose work has been featured by the BBC and National Geographic, will be onboard to capture extraordinary keepsake imagery for guests. He will also be able to offer guidance on photographing the total solar eclipse.

EYOS founder Rob McCallum, one of the world’s most respected expedition leaders, will also join the voyage. McCallum is the deepest diving New Zealander, having attained full ocean depth at 10,925 metres in the Challenger Deep in 2021.

The expedition team will also include Pippa Low, a polar expedition leader, marine scientist and naturalist with extensive experience throughout the Arctic and Antarctica.
