Yamaha impress with a big show return – Melbourne Boat Show 2023

Yamaha Motor Australia enjoyed a great return to the Melbourne Boat Show on 26-29 October, showcasing its range of cutting-edge marine technologies, both on-water and within the Expo arena.

The event took place at the iconic Docklands precinct in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, marking the 61st year of the prestigious event.

Yamaha’s display featured a dedicated marina with 14 Yamaha-powered boats on the water. Demonstrations of the class-leading Helm Master EX control system were also available to showcase this innovative technology. Yamaha’s stand within the expo arena displayed a wide range of outboards and watercraft. Both areas were designed to give marine enthusiasts a firsthand look at Yamaha’s latest innovations.

Visitors to the show were able to get up close and personal with Yamaha’s latest outboard releases, including the massive XTO450 and the all-new F150, F175 and F200, with integrated steering. Also on display was the recently launched JetFish Equipped FX HO WaveRunner.

The Yamaha Marine team also displayed two impressive Skeeter boats following the recent announcement of the brand’s return to Australia’s high-performance fishing boat market.

Yamaha’s efforts at the show were well recognised, with the display receiving the award of “Best Marina Display” by the show organisers.

“It was great to return to the Melbourne Boat Show in a big way,” said Yamaha’s Grant Binskin, Head of Marketing for the Marine Division. “The Yamaha display was a credit to the hard work and cooperation of a number of Yamaha dealerships, boat builder partners and our staff. The sun was shining, customers were out in force, and all enjoyed the event.”
