Introducing the ICE 64 Explorer

ICE Yachts, the renowned shipyard recognised for its commitment to excellence, has introduced its latest creation to the yachting world—the ICE 64 Explorer. This exclusive and innovative model redefines the sailing experience, standing out among the multitude of offerings in the market.

Compared to its predecessor, the ICE 60, the ICE 64 Explorer promises an even smoother sailing experience, catering to owners seeking high performance, safety, and unparalleled comfort on the open seas.

Distinguished as a high-quality fast cruiser, the ICE 64 Explorer boasts an extraordinary use of space and an intriguing design that reflects the distinctive style of the shipyard. One notable feature is the carbon T-top, a departure from the traditional bimini, providing a protected, secure, and clean deck.

A revolutionary stern swim platform adds to the vessel’s allure, offering a comfortable space for the tender and serving as a practical alternative to internal garages. The bimini arch facilitates easy tender launch, simplifying boarding and disembarking operations, showcasing the boat’s high level of practicality and versatility.

Integrated solar panels on the bimini contribute to the vessel’s energy efficiency, emphasizing a sustainable approach to navigation. Water channels, seamlessly integrated, enhance functionality and design, ensuring effective drainage, rainwater collection, and improved onboard water resource management.

Underneath its sleek exterior, the ICE 64 features an advanced 48V electrical system, including winches, providing significant advantages in energy efficiency, autonomy, and performance when compared to traditional systems. This eco-friendly system reduces emissions and minimises environmental impact, aligning with ICE YACHTS’ commitment to sustainability.

With twin rudders for optimal navigation control, a shallow draft for easy navigation in shallow waters, and a hull and deck constructed using female mould infusion lamination and hybrid fibres, the ICE 64 ensures a perfect balance of structural rigidity, noise reduction, and vibration control.

Internally, the ICE 64, designed by the “Interiors” section of Felci Yacht Design, offers a 3-cabin version with a spacious and welcoming salon. The convertible seating in the dinette maximises occupant comfort, providing flexibility and space utilisation. The open galley, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, a large Corian countertop, and ample storage space, seamlessly integrates with the modern and functional design of the yacht.

An exceptional feature is the aft cabin, designed as a versatile space that transforms from a cabin into a workspace, reflecting the multifunctional ethos as an “Explorer”. This space, directly connected to the navigation and charting area, includes a large workbench, sink, washing machine, and concealed toilet, catering to the practical needs of extended stays onboard.

The first two models of ICE 64 are currently under construction at the ICE YACHTS shipyard in Salvirola, near Crema. The first one will be ready by the end of the year. The shipyard’s technicians are available to explain and showcase the quality of true Made in Italy and the attention to detail that only a product born from Italian design and construction tradition can provide.
