Exhibitor applications open!

Exhibitor applications are now open for the 62nd Melbourne Boat Show, 17-20 October in Docklands.

The 2023 Melbourne Boat Show was a resounding success, attracting more than 43,000 visitors eager to immerse themselves into the world of boats, boating and the boating lifestyle.

Exhibitors transformed the scenic waterfront and marinas of Docklands to showcase the best of the boating and marine industry. Visitors travelled from all over Melbourne, Victoria and beyond to discover the latest innovations and engage with experts. For exhibitors, it was a valuable platform to build their brand, generate leads, establish new connections, create sales and network.

Boating careers on the move

Boating Careers has had a very busy two weeks exhibiting at the South East Career Expo, Victorian Careers Show, Wurun Senior Campus, St Francis Xavier College, and today at the Melton Young Careers Expo. These events have provided tremendous exposure for our industry, reaching thousands of students.

Boating Careers is dedicated to building awareness and promoting the diverse career paths within the boating and marine industry. With fierce competition and limited exposure for many students who haven’t grown up around boats or fishing, our mission is to ensure that more young people consider and pursue exciting careers in our dynamic industry.

Industry Immersion Day

The Boating Careers Immersion Day aims to provide school students with hands-on experience in the marine industry, promoting career pathways and employment opportunities. The immersion program will be conducted across three locations; Dandenong – August 9th, Williamstown – August 16th, and Geelong – August 23rd. These events will include visits to various marine industry employers.

The program comprises of three major steps: initial exposure, work placement, and school based apprenticeship opportunities.
