The IBEX Innovation Awards showcase outstanding marine product development to the recreational boating industry and beyond. The program, managed by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and judged by Boating Writers International (BWI), is one of the marine industry’s most prestigious honours recognising manufacturers and suppliers who bring new, innovative products to market.
ELIGIBILITY
IBEX 2025 contracted exhibitors with a product that meets all program rules and regulations are eligible for entry to the program.
- Product was not marketed or sold to any person or entity in the U.S. prior to October 1, 2024.
- Product must be on display in its finished, sellable state at the time of the show at which it is entered.
- Product must not have been previously submitted for an Innovation Award.
- Product must be sold and marketed or “shipping to market” at the time of the show at which it is entered or for sale to the public within 60 days after the end of the show. No concept products will be considered.
- Product cannot have been marketed or sold in the U.S. more than one year prior to being entered for an Innovation Award at any show.
- Participation in the Awards is limited to contracted companies exhibiting at IBEX 2025.
An official entry form must be submitted by August 20, 2025 for consideration.

ENTRY FORM
A contracted, exhibiting company can access the online entry form by navigating to the Exhibitor Resource Center and selecting the IBEX Innovation Awards tile. Entry forms should be received by August 20, 2025 for consideration to the 2025 program.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Complete online entry form by August 20, 2025.
- Pay entry fee by August 27, 2025.

Entry fee is $450 for NMMA members and $550 for non-members per Product entered.

- Provide supporting materials (product video, product image and company logo) via file share by August 27, 2025.
- Participate in onsite judges meeting taking place October 5 & 6. Meetings are scheduled by the judging chair and will be confirmed with the onsite contact after the entry deadline. Product must be present during the meeting.
INNOVATION WAY SHOWCASE
NEW! Innovation Meet + Greet
As a valued Innovation Award entrant, you’re invited to take part in a brand-new opportunity to showcase your entry at the show. Join us for a dedicated Meet & Greet on Tuesday, October 7, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, along Innovation Way. This informal gathering allows you to engage with IBEX visitors, share the story behind your innovation, and build valuable connections. We encourage you to be at your display during this time to highlight your work.
Onsite
All IBEX Innovation Award entrants are invited to include their product along Innovation Way. Display space is complimentary.
*Advanced Shipping – exhibitors have the option to ship a product to the advanced warehouse. Products should be shipped pre-assembled and have a shipping label affixed to the box.

The Innovation Way Showcase will feature all product entries for one year, starting from the opening day of IBEX 2025. Visit the 2024 Innovation Way Showcase to see product entrants and winners.
AWARDS PRESENTATION
Winners will be announced during the Industry Breakfast taking place on the opening morning of IBEX – Tuesday, October 7th. Tickets are required and available for purchase through IBEX registration. Secure your tickets in advance, as this event sells out and tickets are not available onsite.
