2026 APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

The International Junior SeaKeepers (IJSK) Programme empowers students in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and New Zealand to become future leaders in marine conservation. Designed for English-speaking youth aged 14 to 18, participants gain hands-on knowledge of critical ocean issues and explore both scientific and policy-driven approaches to addressing them. Applications for the 2026 cohort are now open for students in the UK and Singapore and will close on December 5th, 2025.

IJSK South Pacific at Te Hāwere-a-Maki
On Thursday, October 30th, the cohort from the IJSK South Pacific Chapter embarked on an unforgettable educational adventure: a floating classroom experience at Te Hāwere-a-Maki (Goat Island) Marine Reserve. Read more and see pictures, here.

IJSK UK at the Southhampton International Boat Show 2025
On September 22nd, 2025, the cohort from the IJSK UK Chapter at King Edward’s School Witley was invited to attend the Southampton International Boat Show 2025. IJSK Asia Team Meet-Up 2025
On June 27th, the cohort from the IJSK Asia Chapter held a team meet-up during the students’ school holidays. The session brought together the very first team of youth for an afternoon of connection and collaboration. The meet-up was a key moment in the IJSK Asia journey, allowing students to meet the SeaKeepers Asia team and each other while building a collaborative team spirit. Read more and see pictures, here.
