GLBS: Momentum Building for 2026 Event

BIA Victoria reports that planning for the 2026 Gippsland Lakes Boat Show (GLBS) is progressing well, with the event website now live and free public ticketing open. Early interest has been encouraging, and work continues on developing a dynamic program designed to maximise visitation and showcase the depth and capability of Victoria’s marine sector.

For 2026, GLBS will align with two major community events taking place on the same weekend: the Paynesville Classic Boat Rally and the Raymond Island Car & Bike Show. Together, these events will create a broader festival atmosphere across the Gippsland Lakes, giving visitors multiple reasons to spend time in the region while delivering increased exposure for participating marine businesses.

In addition to extensive on-water and onshore displays, GLBS 2026 will introduce a new Bream Fishing Competition activation, expected to attract strong interest from recreational anglers. BIAV advises that further details will be released shortly.

With momentum building and public promotion now underway, businesses still have the opportunity to secure their place at the inaugural GLBS. Exhibitors considering participation are encouraged to contact Katrina ( ) as early as possible.
