Australian Adventure Expo Returns: Early Exhibitor Window Opens as Australian Adventure Expo Resets for 2026

The Australian adventure and outdoor industry will come together once again as the Australian Adventure Expo returns to Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, 21-22 October 2026.

As Australia’s premier trade expo for the sector, the Australian Adventure Expo (AAE) attracts a highly targeted trade audience, bringing together manufacturers, distributors and service providers with retailers and industry professionals into one dedicated marketplace.

From camping and caravanning to hiking, adventure and action sports, water and snow sports, 4×4, fishing and water activities, hunting, technology, to infrastructure and sustainability, the expo presents a comprehensive snapshot of the products and emerging trends and technology shaping the breadth of the sector.

Built for connection, discovery and trade, the expo provides a valuable platform for product discovery, wholesale opportunities and business development ahead of the peak summer season. Exhibitors benefit from direct access to qualified buyers, the ability to showcase products in a hands-on environment, and the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term partnerships.

Attendees can explore new releases, engage with leading and emerging brands, and gain insights into evolving consumer demand within the outdoor and adventure market. In addition to the exhibition floor, the expo fosters industry connection through networking opportunities and informal knowledge sharing, strengthening relationships across the sector.

The Australian Adventure Expo enters a new chapter under the stewardship of Mulpha Events, marking the company’s first time delivering the event and bringing with it a new level of structure and potential scale.

As part of Mulpha’s broader portfolio of nationally and internationally recognised events and destinations, the expo will benefit from experienced delivery, strategic growth planning and elevated industry positioning. This transition reflects a commitment to strengthening the event’s role within the outdoor and adventure sector, while enhancing the overall experience for exhibitors and attendees.

Corey Rattray-Wood

General Manager of Events & Partnerships, Corey Rattray-Wood commented, “The Australian Adventure Expo will continue to play a key role in supporting the growth of Australia’s outdoor and adventure industry, providing a central meeting point for business, innovation and collaboration within a professionally delivered platform that reflects the scale and momentum of the sector.”

“For the first year under our management, the focus is on establishing and refining the experience, with a clear ambition to build, polish and grow the event in the years ahead”, he added.

The move to Sydney places the event centrally within the hub of Australia’s outdoor, retail and tourism industry, creating greater accessibility for key buyers and decision-makers, aimed at positioning it as the country’s leading trade event for the adventure sector.
