The Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV) has announced the Murray River Boat Show as its Victorian regional boat show for 2027.
The inaugural event will be held in Yarrawonga from 12–14 March 2027, bringing the recreational boating industry to the shores of Lake Mulwala and the Murray River.

The announcement follows the successful Geelong Boat Show in 2025 and Gippsland Lakes Boat Show in 2026, continuing BIAV’s strategy of presenting boat shows in key recreational boating regions throughout Victoria.
Located approximately 280 kilometres and a three-hour drive north of Melbourne, Yarrawonga is a popular tourism destination on the Victorian–New South Wales border. The town sits beside the Murray River and the 23-kilometre-long Lake Mulwala, a major destination for boating, waterskiing and freshwater fishing.
The show will feature waterfront exhibition areas, on-water activations and regular boat demonstrations from participating brands. Visitors can also expect entertainment, boating information, seafood cooking demonstrations and a selection of regional coffee, wine and food offerings.
The location provides exhibitors with access to an established community of boat owners, watersports enthusiasts and prospective boaters from across northeast Victoria and southern New South Wales.
A broad range of government, tourism, boating and community organisations is already engaged with the event, including the Victorian Government, Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism and Business, Moira Shire, Mulwala Ski Club and the Yarrawonga Ski Team.
Marine dealers and brands involved include Yarrawonga Marine, Boats and More Shepparton, Solar City Marine, Leigh Martin Marine, Bar Crusher, Whittley, Malibu, MasterCraft, Nautique and Lewis Ski Boats, alongside Club Marine and Boating Careers.
