MSA Website Brings Every Marine Discipline into Focus

Marine Solutions Australia has launched a completely rebuilt website that does considerably more than provide a refreshed digital shopfront.

The new site gives every discipline within the company’s broad marine engineering capability its own dedicated page, providing boat owners, captains and fleet managers with a clearer understanding of the services available and, importantly, the work involved.

I had the opportunity to visit the Marine Solutions Australia stand at the recent Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and came away impressed by the dedication, passion and engagement demonstrated by the team.

They were not simply waiting for people to walk onto the stand. They were actively engaging with the passing audience, discussing boating challenges and explaining how the company could assist.

The MSA branding also stood out.

Its logo was immediately recognisable throughout the show, helped by a clever initiative that ensured the company received additional visibility well beyond the boundaries of its exhibition space. Many visitors to Sanctuary Cove will know exactly what I am referring to.

It was a simple but effective example of a business understanding that being good at what you do is only part of the equation. You must also make the effort to be noticed, remembered and understood.

The same thinking appears to have been applied to the new website.

Rather than placing an extensive range of services beneath one general engineering heading, MSA has created individual resources covering engine repowers, thrusters and stabilisers, electronics and electrical systems, hydraulics, plumbing and sanitation, marine air conditioning, anchor winches and windlasses, generators, watermakers, davits and tender lifts.

The pages go beyond simply listing what the company can supply or repair. They explain the systems in relatively plain English, outline the considerations involved in selecting or maintaining equipment and address many of the questions boat owners are likely to ask before committing to a project.

For example, the engine repower section does not assume that replacing an engine is always the answer. It discusses the differences between rebuilding, repowering and replacing the vessel, while outlining the complete process from assessment and engine selection through to installation, commissioning and sea trials.

A new projects section further strengthens the site by showing completed work rather than relying only on claims about capability. Projects currently featured include an extensive sanitation and seacock replacement aboard an 11-metre flybridge cruiser and a raw-water system and sea-strainer overhaul undertaken during a two-week superyacht hardstand period.

Based at Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard in Coomera, and with a second showroom opening at The Boat Works, MSA is strategically positioned in one of Australia’s most important recreational boatbuilding and marine service precincts.

Southeast Queensland is not only a centre for boat manufacturing. It is also where thousands of boat owners congregate to maintain their prized possessions, undertake refits and introduce new levels of performance, safety and onboard comfort.

For MSA, the new website provides those owners with a much clearer pathway into the company.

It presents its services professionally, demonstrates its experience and, most importantly, helps customers understand the many marine engineering disciplines required to keep a boat operating at its best.
