CMC MARINE – NEW LA FINS – WORLD PREMIERE

CMC Marine will attend the Cannes Yachting Festival with some major product innovations designed to enhance the performance, comfort and efficiency of its systems. The first is the new LA (Low Aspect Ratio) fin range for displacement superyachts, entirely designed and developed in-house. An evolution of the Stabilis Electra LR fins, the new design reduces drag by 30% thanks to a lower aspect ratio and a rounded leading edge that minimizes turbulence, improving hydrodynamic efficiency and onboard comfort, particularly at anchor. The range is available for Stabilis Electra stabilizers with fin sizes from 2.10 to 7 m². Further strengthening the stabilization portfolio are the two new Waveless STAB 50 and STAB 60 models, which offer maximum compactness without compromising stabilizing power. These new units will extend the STAB range to applications on yachts of 40 metres and above. The offering is also expanded with a new series of five-blade propellers for Dualis Electra thrusters. The new five-blade geometry has been engineered to optimize functionality and comfort while ensuring greater efficiency and quieter operation. This configuration reduces thrust fluctuations by up to 30%, delivering smoother manoeuvring and enhanced onboard comfort. CMC Marine is also introducing a new capacitive touchscreen display featuring redesigned graphics, excellent readability even in direct sunlight, and highly responsive performance. The new display integrates CAN NMEA 2000 ports, enabling connection to the vessel’s network and the management of essential data such as navigation signals and GPS information, while the updated user interface provides an even more intuitive and comprehensive user experience.
