Daved Lambert Appointed Vice President of BIAV

The Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV) has announced the appointment of Daved Lambert as its new Vice President, following a decision by the Association’s Board.

A Board member since 2019, Lambert brings extensive business experience, strong industry knowledge and a longstanding passion for boating to the role. His appointment strengthens the executive team as BIAV prepares for an important year ahead.

BIAV President Scott O’Hare welcomed the appointment, acknowledging Lambert’s significant contribution to the organisation to date. “Daved has already contributed an enormous amount to BIAV, particularly in relation to our building sale, investment portfolio and major projects,” O’Hare said. “His extensive network, connections across the state and strategic thinking have been invaluable. As Vice President, Daved will be of even greater benefit to the Association.”

Lambert’s appointment follows the recent departure of Michael Neumann and completes the Board as it looks ahead to 2026. The BIAV Board now comprises Scott O’Hare (President), Daved Lambert (Vice President), Neil James (Treasurer), Anthony Cooke, Josie Eastman, Alistair Murray AM, newly elected Board member Sue Bowes, and BIAV CEO Steve Walker.

With the executive team now finalised, BIAV enters the next phase of its strategic agenda with renewed leadership depth and continuity.
