Porsche and Frauscher prepared for their joint appearance at boot Düsseldorf 2026 with a special selection of electric highlights. At the world’s largest boat show, the German sports car manufacturer and the Austrian boat builder showed a new sports boat, alongside a corresponding example of the Macan Turbo that matches the watercraft both in terms of aesthetics and drive technology, plus an example of the new Cayenne Turbo Electric.

When boot Düsseldorf 2026 opened its doors on 17 January, Porsche and Frauscher Boats unveiled a joint innovation: the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre, an all-new electric sports boat developed from the ground up around the high-voltage drive system of the fully electric Porsche Macan. Its world premiere marks the next chapter in the collaboration between the two long-established companies. In parallel, Porsche showcased an exclusively customised concept car based on the Macan Turbo. The boat and the SUV share various exterior and interior design elements, impressively demonstrating how thoroughly both Frauscher and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur fulfil bespoke customer requests.
Another highlight: Porsche Cayenne Electric
Another highlight was the new Porsche Cayenne Electric, which made its German debut in Düsseldorf following its world premiere in November 2025. The brand’s second fully electric SUV combines powerful Porsche E-Performance with exceptional everyday practicality. A particular highlight is the car’s impressive towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes, which makes the electric Cayenne a highly versatile tow vehicle – ideal for transporting large sports boats, for example. Once again, Porsche is underlining the versatility of its successful SUV model.
Porsche was the official mobility partner of this year’s boot Düsseldorf and provided a shuttle service for the duration of the show.
