AB Yachts, a brand of Next Yacht Group and for over thirty years, kicks off the international boat show season with its participation in the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival, scheduled for September 9-14, and the Monaco Yacht Show, from September 24-27.
Two boats will be on display at both events, embodying the shipyard’s vision, which for over thirty years has been dedicated to the ultimate expression of speed, design, and technological innovation: the first AB 95, presented in a world première in Cannes, and the second AB 110, a pure evolution of power and style.
World premiere in Cannes of the new AB 95
The new AB 95 will be unveiled to the public for the first time, a model that best expresses the shipyard’s vision, combining the excellence of sports technology that has always distinguished the brand with generous and elegant spaces, designed to offer an on-board experience that combines comfort, style, and adrenaline.
Once again, AB Yachts confirms its unmistakable signature, presenting a model with a dynamic and decisive profile, designed to express power in every situation and capable of reaching 50 knots thanks to a total thrust of 6,000 horsepower, without sacrificing quietness, absence of vibrations, and stability. This combination enhances the quality of life on board, offering a sporty sailing experience that is always oriented towards comfort, safety, and pleasure.
With a length of 28.5 meters and a width of 6.80 meters, the AB 95 is spread over three decks and accommodates up to 10 people in four cabins, located on the lower deck, two full-beam and two guest cabins, as well as four crew members, ensuring generous space and maximum functionality. Every detail reflects the know-how accumulated over more than three decades of the shipyard’s history: latest-generation materials, cutting-edge technical solutions, and a high-performance propulsion system come together in a design by Archea Associati.
The atmosphere on board is that of a sophisticated retreat, where elegance and functionality meet. Every room, from the owner’s suite to the guest cabins, is designed to ensure comfort, privacy, and well-being, thanks to fine materials and a design that enhances natural light and visual contact with the sea.
The design vision encompasses both the exterior and interior spaces, conceived as a fluid and luminous whole. On the sundeck, the flybridge offers an even larger and more livable space characterised by a reverse glass wall that defines the profile of the boat: a huge open-air belvedere overlooking the sea, accessible from the aft cockpit via two external carbon staircases. The project is completed by a fully equipped beach area on the sea, ready to be enjoyed, where tenders and numerous water toys can be stored with ease.
The launch of the first unit took place in July and represents the third launch by AB Yachts since the beginning of the year: a result that confirms the dynamism of the shipyard and enhances the production site in Viareggio, where the Group’s headquarters are located, recently renovated and upgraded to triple production capacity.
The second AB 110 unit is also on display in Cannes and Monaco.
An expression of sculpted design and uncompromising performance, the AB 110 (length 33.70 meters) returns to the spotlight, a project designed for owners looking for a fast, distinctive, and contemporary boat. This second unit further evolves the initial design, combining bold styling with cutting-edge technology: from the panoramic carbon flybridge to the high-tech wheelhouse, every detail is designed to enhance the sailing experience. In this model too, the three waterjet propulsion system allows a top speed of 43 knots to be reached, with a reduced draft ideal for exploring shallow waters and secluded coves. The interiors offer refined, customisable living solutions that are in complete harmony with the exterior environment.
With its presence at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows, AB YACHTS reaffirms its position in the high-performance yacht segment, offering models that represent a perfect balance between technology, craftsmanship, and design vision. Two boats that testify to the creative energy of the shipyard and its ability to anticipate the future of luxury high-speed sailing.
