Visitors to the 2025 Perth Boat Show will see a range of new boats and marine engines from Whittley Boating Centre Perth, with the dealership confirming it will unveil its new Whittley AL Series and a dedicated Repower Division.
The event takes place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 September at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Whittley presenting six new pressed and plate aluminium boats alongside Honda Marine’s latest outboards.
New Whittley AL Series
The AL Series introduces six Australian-made alloy models, including bowrider, side console, tiller steer open boat, centre console and runabout designs. The range offers a compact and more affordable alternative to Whittley’s traditional fibreglass boats, appealing to families and first-time boat owners.
Whittley Boating Centre Perth Sales Manager, Brock Cohen, said the new aluminium line had been well received around the country.
“Since the AL series has been rolled out and stocked nationwide at Whittley Boating Centres, the response from the public has far exceeded our expectations. Presenting the new range of alloy boats under lights at the Perth Boat Show will be a fantastic boost as momentum builds around this latest addition to the Whittley brand,” Mr Cohen said.
Honda Repower Division
The dealership will also introduce the Honda Repower Division as part of a national rollout of Honda engines through the Whittley Marine Group. The new division will provide Western Australian boaters with access to Honda repower installations and servicing.
“Nationally, the Honda Marine repower rollout has been progressing steadily. Consumers are noticing the benefits of Honda ownership as the Whittley Marine Group offers the Honda products for both repower installations and servicing,” Mr Cohen said.
Latest Honda Outboards
For the first time in Western Australia, the Whittley stand will feature Honda’s new BF 150 and V6 250 outboards. Built in Japan, the engines incorporate BLAST, VTEC and ECOMO technologies and come with a seven-year domestic warranty.
Mr Cohen said: “It is exciting to see the new Honda Marine engine model range released, introducing a new generation of Honda engines to the marine market.”
Fibreglass Range Also on Display
In addition to the new alloy models, Whittley will present a selection of fibreglass boats, continuing the brand’s tradition of family cruisers and sport fishing hybrids.
The Whittley Boating Centre Perth is located in Wangara and has operated since 1953. It is an authorised Honda Marine dealer and stocks a full range of Whittley aluminium and fibreglass trailer boats, along with accessories and servicing.
The Whittley Boating Centre display will be at stands #606 and #609 at the Perth Boat Show.
