In a move that underscores growing demand for innovative explorer superyachts, Bering Yachts’ Europe branch has signed a contract for the construction of the first hull of its all-new Bering 110 model. This 33-meter vessel, developed in collaboration with Red Yacht Design, represents a fresh take on the explorer category, blending rugged capability with superyacht sophistication.
The Bering 110 emerges as Bering’s latest evolution, prioritising extended autonomy and real-world usability. With a full-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she’s engineered for demanding voyages, powered by twin Caterpillar C18 engines (715 HP each) that deliver a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 12 knots under half load. Her standout feature is a range surpassing 5,000 nautical miles, fuelled by a 47,000-litre tank and 6,500 litres of fresh water storage, ensuring self-sufficiency for up to four weeks with 10 guests and 5 crew. At 299 gross tons and an 8.17-meter beam, the B110’s 2.4-meter draft allows access to shallow bays, while her displacement provides the stability needed for open-ocean runs.
“This yacht is perfect for extended passages or cozy family getaways, offering private spaces for relaxation, work, study, or lively parties — without compromising on comfort or amenities,” said Alexei Mikhailov, Bering Yachts’ founder. “It’s built for adventurers who demand both freedom and luxury.”
Inside, practicality reigns. The asymmetrical salon gains an extra meter of width by forgoing the starboard sidewalk, creating a square, inviting space that rivals larger yachts — perfect for relaxed gatherings or formal entertaining. The main deck flows from a forward galley to a classic owner’s suite, with four guest staterooms below and dedicated crew quarters ahead. The flybridge shines with a Jacuzzi and bar, while the open boat deck accommodates foldable furniture for versatility.
The beach club with a skylight offers a versatile expanse, housing a gym, sauna, resting area, and storage for toys and gear, enhanced by wide, easy-to-navigate spaces. The oversized cockpit boasts ample seating, a table for 12 guests, a full bar, and space for outdoor celebrations. Ample storage, including a well-equipped galley on the Main Deck and a Lower-Deck storage room with a walk-in fridge/freezer, dual washer-dryer sets, and extensive cabinets, supports limitless voyages.
“With the Bering 110, we aimed to merge the bold spirit of exploration with the elegance of a superyacht,” said Fatih Sürekli, Managing Director of Red Yacht Design. “She’s built to go anywhere while offering the warmth of a true home at sea.”
The B110 is a smart crossover: expedition toughness meets superyacht finesse. Economical to run and compact at 300 gross tons, she’s ideal for private escapes or charters, reaching remote horizons with ease. The signed contract signals strong market confidence, positioning Bering Yachts as a go-to for discerning owners seeking capability and functionality.
